Arrange Counselling Sessions:
Please contact us to arrange a free initial consultation and to book counselling sessions.
For further information about counselling and CBT-i, please see the FAQs and support pages.
The Initial Consultation:
The initial telephone consultation will last up to 20 minutes, it is to get an idea of what your goals are throughout the counselling process and to make sure the counselling we offer is suitable for you. This is an opportunity to ask any questions you may have about counselling, and to discuss what to expect throughout the process. Counselling session times can be arranged at the end of the consultation, but there is no obligation to proceed with with any support if you decide not to go ahead.
The Counselling Process:
Generally, 6 to 8 sessions is a guideline number of recommended sessions, but this will be discussed and agreed during the initial consultation. Sometimes, fewer sessions may be required, or longer term counselling may be more appropriate, and this will be reviewed together throughout the counselling process. You are able to discontinue counselling at any point. Sessions are generally weekly (daytimes / evenings), but can be fortnightly or more flexible if needed, depending on individual circumstances. Counselling sessions last 50 minutes.
Payment:
Sessions can be paid for individually in advance or at the start of each session, but multiple sessions can also be booked and paid for in advance at a discounted rate.
