Welcome to the Sleep Support Project!


Sleep – ‘Zzz…’, you may say.  Well, sleep takes over about a third of our lives.  Sleep can be wonderful, fascinating, recharging, inspiring.  Without sleep, things can quickly become frustrating, exhausting, and feel very difficult indeed.

Sleep is vital for our mental health and wellbeing, yet many of us are living with sleep deprivation as the norm, in order to keep up with the demands of daily life.  At the Sleep Support Project, we aim to emotionally support those living with sleep problems, and to also increase awareness about the different long-term sleep disorders that many people are living with.

Through this website you will find hopefully useful info to support your sleep, and keep checking the blog for posts about all things sleep-related.

Our counsellors offer emotional support for people experiencing sleep issues or living with sleep disorders, via counselling and CBT-i.

The Sleep Support Project aims to contribute towards increasing awareness about sleep disorders, whilst offering informed, dedicated support to those living with long-term sleep issues, and for those whose mental health is impacting on their sleep.
